Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has launched a new campaign, #BehindEveryGreatCity, calling on people and businesses across the capital to focus their New Year's resolutions on gender equality in 2018.

Prominent Londoners including Naomi Campbell, Linda Robson, Gurinder Chadha, Laura Whitmore, Ray BLK, Susie Rodgers, Tinie Tempah and Sonia Friedman appear alongside Khan in a campaign video, joined by nurses, firefighters, police officers and TfL engineers, championing the achievements and contributions of women from all walks of life, and Khan commented 'Over the next year, and beyond, I commit to redoubling my efforts to fight for gender equality.... I will be encouraging Londoners to celebrate the women of all ages, ethnicities, faiths and backgrounds who make London the greatest city in the world'.
